Hitched In wins Startup Weekend Sunshine Coast 2015

Startup Weekend Sunshine Coast concluded last night with a wave of energy and an overwhelming number of connections made between budding entrepreneurs from all walks of life. The marathon weekend started on Friday night with more than 200 in the audience listening to 43 raw concepts pitched in under 60 seconds each. Participants then formed into 13 teams who worked furiously all weekend to prove their concepts and ready themselves for the grand finale on Sunday night. Australia’s digital economy worth $79 billion

Australia's digital economy is valued at $79 billion (or 5.1%) of gross domestic product (GDP), larger than the traditional industries of agriculture, transport and retail, according to The Connected Continent II report by Deloitte Access Economics. Technology Choice Program launched

NBN Co has launched its Technology Choice Program which provides new options for individuals, local governments and communities who wish to apply for a change to their National Broadband Network (NBN) infrastructure.
