Find out how to create an intelligent community and hear how South East Queensland is leading the way in the broadband economy at the Australian Information Industry Association’s (AIIA) lunch in Brisbane on 6 May.
Guest speaker John Jung, Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) co-founder, will share his story and insights about how to use broadband and information technology to attract leading-edge businesses, stimulate job creation, build skills and continue to generate economic growth for the region.
The lunch celebrates Ipswich’s inclusion in the Top 7 Intelligent Communities of 2015 following from its success being named a Smart21 Intelligent Community together with the Sunshine Coast.
Previous Smart21 Communities include: Gold Coast (2008, 2009, 2010), Sunshine Coast (2014, 2015) and Ipswich (2010, 2012, 2015).
“Being placed among the Smart21 is the first step to greater recognition as not only an Intelligent Community, but as a region which is positioned to prosper in the broadband economy,” Regional Development Australia Sunshine Coast Chair Tony Riddle said.
“These continued successes highlight South East Queensland as an innovative region which harnesses best practices to create competitive local economies and vibrant societies in today’s hyper-competitive global economy.”
This event is sponsored by Stockland and RPS Group.
