The Sunshine Coast’s third annual Startup Weekend will bring together more than 100 designers, developers, students, creatives and business people for 54 hours of hands-on entrepreneurship.
Held at Spark Bureau in Maroochydore, the event is designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, connections and hands-on experience they need to create and launch their own startup ventures.
Over the course of the weekend participants will pitch ideas, form teams and develop their unique business models under the guidance of professional mentors. Along the way, they’ll learn and apply the principles of the Lean Startup Methodology in a fun, fast-paced environment.
