Digital-savvy businesses dominate this year’s list of the fastest growing Australian companies, with the majority of 2014’s Smart50 finalists implementing some form of e-commerce or information technology innovation to grow their business.
While there was a cross-section of industries represented in SmartCompany’s eighth annual Smart50 awards – including education, health, finance, property and retail – almost all of the top 50 say they provide a digital offering to their customers or are planning to push into the digital space.
The awards recognise Australia’s top 50 fastest growing small and medium businesses.
