Your panellists
Steve Baxter is a major early stage investor in startups and founded River City Labs in Brisbane – a tech startup co-working space supporting entrepreneurs to develop their ventures and scale up. At the end of last year Steve took over the reins as Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur and has been a ‘Shark’ on Channel 10’s Shark Tank Australia for three seasons of the popular program.
Elaine Jobson (Jetts) is a Fitness Industry veteran having spent 23 years in executive positions working for a number of the large fitness brands. Elaine is now Chief Executive Officer for Jetts Australia and International. Elaine has worked directly for some of the industry’s most well-known entrepreneurs such as Mike Balfour OBE (Founder, Fitness First); Sir Richard Branson (Owner, Virgin Active South Africa), and Brendon Levenson (Founder, Jetts Fitness). Elaine is passionate about building successful companies through great cultures and growing exceptional Leaders. Elaine won the Deloitte Best Company to work in South Africa (Virgin Active), and 2017 SCBWN Outstanding Business Woman of the Year.
Shanna Bignell (Typefi) is a marketing and communications specialist supporting the growth of Typefi, a cutting edge platform providing customers with the ability to take a single source document and automatically render it in their choice of over 30 formats for print, online and mobile in just minutes with 100% accuracy saving a massive amount of time. Shanna has over 15 years’ experience in marketing communications, mostly in the not-for-profit health and education sectors. She joined Typefi in 2015 and works closely with the global team to promote Typefi’s products and services, and to maintain positive, productive relationships with Typefi’s customers and partners.
Mic Black (Mic’s Lab) is a conventions challenger and ‘inventor for hire’ bringing innovative technologies and human centric interfaces to events for high impact and social engagement. Mic’s Lab is a bold Australian creative technology R&D lab developing interfaces with embedded electronics for major impact and change making in communities all over the country.

Cameron Dunlop (The App Team) is the co-founder and director at The App Team and an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology, telecommunication services and digital media industry. Skilled in Digital Strategy, People Leadership, Go-To Market Planning, Sales Leadership, Negotiation, and Customer Acquisition & Growth Strategies.
