Online scorecard checks digital readiness of business

The Digital Scorecard will help businesses identify ways to improve their digital capability and be more competitive in a global digital economy. The Scorecard will allow businesses to benchmark where they sit in relation to other business across the region and within their industry; and offer technological solutions and training to help them improve their businesses and make them more competitive in the local and global markets.

By addressing digital opportunities and breaking down barriers, businesses will be better equipped to transform their own internal practices, processes, and business strategies to adapt to and prepare for changes in the digital marketplace. This will ensure that the Sunshine Coast has a highly competitive and interconnected business sector that is providing world class products and services using digital tools to enhance productivity – as well as increase collaboration, and business opportunities.

Businesses who complete a digital assessment will be invited to targeted workshops to improve their digital readiness in areas including website development, social media, and the use of mobile and other new technologies.

Businesses can access the Digital Scorecard on the Business Queensland website at www.business.qld.gov.au/digitalscorecard

Digital Economy

The digital economy has been identified as a key driver of economic growth in the Sunshine Coast region. The Digital Scorecard will be fundamental in building digital capacity in local businesses; and will help businesses establish, grow, and capture new opportunities through adoption of best practice digital activities and technologies.
