Noosa Council works with the business community both locally and regionally to support business and employment growth. With a Local Economic Plan in play that aims for industry diversification in priority sectors that offer high economic value and low environmental impact – innovation is a focus. Council can influence the business environment in a number of was – we advocate, regulate, facilitate, partner and fund a variety of initiatives. Current major programs include the new Noosa Planning Scheme, Transport Strategy, Business Facilitation Service, and the establishment of the Peregian Beach Digital Hub.
