Detailed Information
GovHack is an annual open data competition run by local councils around Australia. Teams have 46 hours to come up with an idea that utilises government open data to make it useful to the community. Many of the concepts are innovative community apps, including informative visualisations, prototype electronic gadgets, games, stories and artistic displays. It’s a competition, and there are prizes, but GovHack is a friendly creative environment.
