The Health and Wellbeing industry is the Sunshine Coast’s largest employer with approximately 1,700 healthcare businesses in operation and about 21,000 people working in the sector.  This industry is also one of the largest generators of economic activity in the region and predicted to double its share of the employment market by 2033.
